About Life Like Ruby’s
HI. My name is Alyssa.
And I’m a wedding, family, and newborn photographer based in Newtown, PA. Like many good things in life, my love of photography took hold when I least expected it. I was living in New York, meeting new friends, and surrounded by some of the most creative and inspiring people I know. I was studying animation at the time, but photography was my excuse to take a break and go outside. After a few months, I knew it was what I wanted to pursue!
I love trying to capture the real beauty of a moment. I love looking back on those photographs and remembering that time so clearly. Back in New York, I was photographing anything and everything- events, travels, jewelry, friendships, adventures, concerts, ice cream… And in 2017 I was asked to photograph my first wedding. I was beyond excited. To be able to continue this journey and share my love of photography with new couples (new friends!) has been no less than a dream come true.
